The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO), management of the SCH, launched a collaborative scheme, SCO and School Partnership Programme (SSPP), with schools in Singapore in May 2003. As the only national Chinese Orchestra in Singapore, SCO takes the lead in promoting greater appreciation of Chinese orchestral music and culture among the students with the launch of this programme. Through SSPP, schools get to enjoy great benefits, which include special concessions on the rental of the venues at SCH.
